Last year’s annual dinner was DDC President/CEO, Julie Gilbert’s second day on the job. She recalled her remarks from last year’s dinner about the passion everyone has for Door County. “I feel the passion even more after getting out throughout the County and meeting with businesses, organizations, and residents, said Gilbert. “After nearly a year, there are still so many more people that I’d like to meet and talk with about Door County.”

During the dinner, Gilbert recognized Todd Trimberger, DDC’s Board Chair, for his dedication to the organization over his 3-year term as Chair. “We are so grateful you dedicated your time and passion for our community, thank you for keeping us on course and ensuring that we are moving in the right direction,” said Gilbert. Trimberger’s term ends at the end of the year.

The evening wrapped up with a positive outlook for 2023 and a continued momentum for DDC’s Care for Door County initiatives.
