Spend an hour or a day ambling up and down the cherry orchards admiring the scenery, feeling the breeze on your face, and collecting the ripest ones to cook or bake with later. In spring, drive along cherry tree-lined highways and hike through orchards-in-bloom to see the beautiful white and pink blossoms up close and take in their pleasant aroma.
Door County typically harvests anywhere between 8-15 million pounds of cherries each year.
